Full Stack Developer

Department

Engineering / Product Development

Reports To

Team Lead – Engineering

Location

Karachi, Pakistan (On-site)

Job Type

Full-time / Permanent

Experience

3 – 5 years of overall relevant experience

ROLE SUMMARY

We are looking for a hands-on Full Stack Developer to design, build and maintain scalable web applications end to end. You will work across the stack — Node.js and NestJS on the server, React on the client, and relational and NoSQL databases underneath — collaborating with product, QA and DevOps to ship reliable features into production on a regular release cadence.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design, develop and maintain backend services and REST/GraphQL APIs using Node.js and the NestJS framework.
  • Build responsive, component-driven front-end interfaces in React (hooks, state management, TypeScript).
  • Model, query and optimise data in relational databases (PostgreSQL / MySQL / SQL Server) and NoSQL stores (MongoDB, Redis).
  • Write clean, testable, well-documented code and participate actively in peer code reviews.
  • Integrate third-party systems and internal platforms via APIs, webhooks and message queues.
  • Profile and tune application and query performance; troubleshoot production issues through to root cause.
  • Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, containerised deployments and automated testing.
  • Translate business requirements into technical designs together with product owners and business analysts.
  • Follow secure coding practices, version control discipline (Git) and Agile/Scrum ceremonies.

REQUIRED SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript (ES6+).
  • Solid, production-level experience with Node.js and NestJS (modules, providers, guards, interceptors, dependency injection).
  • Strong React experience — functional components, hooks, routing, state management (Redux / Zustand / Context) and REST integration.
  • Sound database skills: schema design, indexing, joins, stored procedures, transactions and query optimisation.
  • Working knowledge of ORMs such as TypeORM, Prisma or Sequelize.
  • Familiarity with Git, Docker, CI/CD tooling and cloud platforms (Azure / AWS) is an advantage.
  • Understanding of authentication and authorisation patterns (JWT, OAuth 2.0, RBAC).
  • Good analytical, debugging and problem-solving ability with attention to code quality.
  • Effective written and verbal communication; comfortable working in a collaborative, Agile team.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related discipline.

3 – 5 years of overall relevant experience, with a meaningful portion directly relevant to the responsibilities above.

Reports To

Head of Service Delivery

Location

Karachi, Pakistan (On-site)

Job Type

Full-time / Permanent

Experience

3 – 5 years of overall relevant experience

ROLE SUMMARY

The Project Manager owns the end-to-end delivery of customer technology projects — from kick-off through to handover and closure. You will plan scope, schedule, resources and budget, keep internal teams and customer stakeholders aligned, manage risks and change, and make sure every engagement lands on time, within budget and to the agreed quality standard.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Plan and manage the full project lifecycle: initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, closure and post-implementation review.
  • Develop project charters, work breakdown structures, schedules, resource plans, budgets and RACI matrices.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for customer stakeholders; run status meetings, steering committees and regular progress reporting.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams — implementation engineers, developers, QA, vendors and third parties — against agreed milestones.
  • Identify, log and mitigate risks, issues, assumptions and dependencies; escalate promptly and appropriately.
  • Manage scope and change control, including impact assessment, approvals and commercial variation where required.
  • Track project financials — cost, effort, margin and revenue recognition — and flag deviations early.
  • Ensure documentation, sign-offs, UAT and handover to support are complete and of good quality.
  • Drive adherence to delivery methodology (Waterfall / Agile / hybrid) and contribute to continuous improvement of PMO processes.

REQUIRED SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

  • Proven experience managing multiple concurrent IT / software / infrastructure delivery projects.
  • Strong command of project management methodologies (PMBOK, PRINCE2, Agile / Scrum).
  • Hands-on with project tooling such as MS Project, Jira, Azure DevOps, Smartsheet or equivalent.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Strong commercial awareness — budgeting, forecasting, resource utilisation and project profitability.
  • Confident written and verbal communication, including executive-level reporting and presentations.
  • Structured, organised and calm under pressure, with strong ownership and follow-through.
  • PMP, PRINCE2 or CSM certification is a strong plus.
